Meet Our Founder
Shane Underwood | Founder & CEO
TruePath Insurance Partners was founded by Shane Underwood, a longtime insurance professional and payroll/HCM executive who has spent his career helping businesses navigate the intersection of people, payroll, risk and insurance.
Shane has been a licensed insurance agent for 30 years and currently holds both the Florida 2-15 Life, Health & Variable Annuity license and the Florida 2-20 General Lines Agent license. He is currently licensed to serve clients in 10 states across the country.
His insurance experience is complemented by more than 25 years in payroll and HCM, including senior executive leadership roles with national technology and service organizations. That combination gives Shane a broad perspective on the challenges facing small and mid-sized employers—from workers’ compensation and commercial insurance to payroll, HR technology and the PEO model.
He founded TruePath around a simple idea: business owners deserve experienced guidance from real people who actually know their business.
